World upside down

I choose this pictures because it looks like what a insects vision would be like living on a tree all day crawling up and down. It reminds me of a world upside down because out world would be totally differant living on a tree.

World upside down

I choose this image because you can see a shadow of me but you cannot see me. This to me can relate to the world being upside down because the shadow is a mystery and it makes you wonder who the shadow person would look like in the flesh.

Camera Obscura Questions

What did you see while you were inside the camera obscura?

The whole room was very dark but on the board I could see moving vechiles and could make out the outline of buildings.

How is this camera obscura simular to the inside of a camera? How is it differant?

The camera obscura is similar to an inside of a camera because it projects the images upside down. They are differant because you cant take pictures and also you cannot change the aperture.

Why was the image upside down?

Because there was so much light trying to get in the pin hole that the light slowed down and turned the image upside down.

Vanessa Bell
Abstract Painting 1914
